Picks from Old Navy

I get weird looks when I tell people this, but I LOVE Old Navy and I think they are super chic and affordable. Of course, that is if you know what to look for. I think they do a fantastic job on their prints, usually a two color print with black, usually white as background color. Those are AMAZING. I couldn't find a picture of the one shoulder dress I bought last year when every company was following the one shoulder trend. It was breezy, comfortable and 25 bucks! You can't beat that. I have so many clothes from them it's unbelievable (also have some dog clothes). Their color palette is really nice, good for the summer.

Really cool warehouse style stores with concrete flooring and exposed pipes. Just the other day I walked by their display window in downtown San Francisco, and I saw these motor operated spinning barrel with skirts pinned to them, so that the skirts twill in the air, very very creative idea, kudos to whoever came up with that. Also love the fact that they open until midnight during christmas season, I remember I used to take late night walks downstairs of my apartment when I lived on top of an outside mall (I miss those days), and Old Navy would be the only store open for last minute(literally) christmas shopping and it was geat. I would love to work for them if I had the chance.

With that said, I have never purchased any of their winter stuff, because they simply suck. I don't know if it's because their headquarter is now based in California, but their designers just don't know how to design a coat or a sweater. Shitty material and weird fitting.

Here's some of my favorite from past and current seasons:

oversized ring, $6.5; cami, $20; white linen dress, $20 on sale; strappy sandal, $30; floral skirt, $14 on sale.
